Let’s start digging into the science. I am a nerd at heart…lol…numbers are my thing, and, in most cases, my mind works on logic and reason. My Faith is the one the thing that has just always been there. I have never questioned it, but as I have dug more into it, I have been pleasantly surprised to find science backs many of my beliefs.
Let’s start with some basics. The Christian Bible is the best-selling book in the world…

…but is The Bible real? Not is it a real book, obviously, but is it actually a collection of religious texts, sharing God’s word with us, and chronicling the life of Jesus Christ, his crucifixion, and his resurrection, or just a work of fiction? I believe that it is real, based on my Faith alone, but here are some more recent examples of how modern science is validating the texts in the book.
There are a number of modern-day cities that are in The Bible. Jerusalem, Jericho, Babylon, Capernaum, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Damascus, etc. just to name a few, but let’s dig deeper.
Is it physically possible for Heaven to exist? I have my own ideas on how the whole Heaven and Hell thing works, but that’s a story for another day. This article provides a scientific answer to that question:

Yes, this article is linked at Fox News, which can be controversial for some (just like CNN is for others…lol), but the author, Michael Guillén, PhD, taught physics at Harvard for 14 years, and was an Emmy-Winning Science Editor for ABC News (see info at the end of the article), so the guy is a legit scientist.

No, there isn’t proof positive yet that this is “the” ark, but the data coming out of the ground is compelling, especially when you consider how long ago the ark would have made landfall there.
Finally, for today, we have an interesting article discussing the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin.

Again, there isn’t proof positive – yet – that this is the shroud that Jesus was interred in, but science has not been able to disprove it either, which is pretty amazing to me.
